Success of the project to date

With a high demand for power, Lady Elliot Island took the huge step of removing their reliance on diesel powered generators which ran 24 hours a day.

With such loads as the kitchen/restaurant, the resort, dive compressors and a hungry desalination unit, it was necessary to implement not only a more sustainable energy solution but a very reliable one.

With the addition of Enertech solar’s load shedding device based on irradiance, we are now able to manage generation, storage and supply seamlessly.

Managing Director of Lady Elliot Island Resort, Peter Gash, was delighted with the results saying:
