Once all of the approvals had been gained from Essential Energy, New South Wales, Enertech Solar embarked on designing the roof layout in accordance with the structural Engineers strict exclusion zones and wind loading limitations, this meant using the entire roof in order to displace the load whilst ensuring it was aesthetically pleasing.

Whilst keeping within budget constraints, we wanted to provide Stone and Wood with the latest innovative technology available on the market and install a system with as little losses as possible; we therefore opted for 5 x Fronius Symo 20kW transformerless inverters owing to their amazing efficiencies, flexibility and long warranties.

To compliment these Austrian manufactured inverters, we installed Huber & Suhner solar DC cable, arguably the best on the market with genuine MC4 connectors, at the termination end, Enertech designed and manufactured a central DC combined switchboard housing Arc protection devices designed to arrest any potential spark before damage can occur, Weidmuller Surge Arrestors designed specifically for Photo voltaic installations, String fusing for each string on the array, and finally Kraus and Naimer 1500VDC isolators all enclosed in a metal distribution board.
